I really enjoyed this manga! It's a parody, but I believe it's got the legs to face on its own as a lightweight-hearted amusing story with a fascinating adventure :) The Nippon Basis included the manga on their own list of "five encouraged Manga obtainable in English" and wrote: "[c]omic scenes of characters tormenting one another are entertaining
